Student Printing at Home - Set Up Home Printer

Created by Andy Gutierrez, Modified on Mon, Jun 23 at 2:22 PM by Andy Gutierrez

For security measures, Student Email Accounts have strict access policies that prevent phishing, malware, and spam exposure. Therefore, students can only receive emails and Google Drive Shares from school-authorized domains (@stjosephpinole.org & @csdo.org) and applications. This, unfortunately, affects a student's ability to share a Google Doc, Slide, or Drive link and email it to a parent or guardian.

The solution is that all student Chromebooks have the ability to print directly from them by adding your home printer to the device, alternatively, as all student school emails are Gmail-based. A student could login on a personal home device and then print directly from their Google Drive.
