Adding a Student Profile to Google Chrome Browser

Students use Chromebooks at school that are connected to their student profile via their @stjosephpinole.org emails. To avoid issues of Single Sign On (SSO) via Clever and Schoology families are encouraged to create a Google Chrome Profile with their child's student email as depicted in the following steps.

1. Open Google Chrome and Add a Profile

There are two ways from the Chrome App menu select "Profiles" then "Add Profile" or click on the circle that may have an image on the right side of the address bar then click "Add"

2. Enter the Student Email (@stjosephpinole.org)

Please have your child sign in with their St. Joseph Pinole email and password.

If you need to reset the student password, please submit a support ticket.

3. Add profile

Follow the steps to add the profile. The most important step is to turn on Chrome Profile Sync.

Turning on the Sync "Yes, I'm in" will automatically sync the student's Google account, connected passwords, links and account to Schoology.

4. Verify Logged in and Sync is On

Click on the portrait image to the right of the address bar and verify that the sync is on.
